From a new account to a published, installable game.
Sign up with Google or an email address and a password. Email sign-ups confirm the address with a code. You land on the dashboard.
Press New project. Pick a starting point (Blank, Gallery, Village or Platformer), choose 2D or 3D, and name it. Village and Platformer are 2D starters. See Projects and templates.
The project opens in the Scene workspace. The viewport is in the middle with its tools docked above it, the scene structure on the left and the properties of whatever you select on the right.
Open the Assets tab in the bottom dock, pick a model and click in the viewport to place it. Press G to move it, R to rotate, S to scale. In a 2D project, switch to Pixel Studio in Art & Assets and paint a tile or a sprite instead.
Press Preview in the top bar. You are in the game, with the same runtime players will get. Press Esc to come back with nothing lost.
Press Publish, choose Public, Unlisted or Off, and press Publish v1. The game is live at its own address, and the address is yours to share.
